Summer Workshops- Every summer, we conduct a week long day camp for various age groups. The workshops are led by a theatre professional and follow a different theme each year. The workshop culminates in an end-of-the week performance for parents and friends. Price- $50

Would you like to see how a puppet
lives? Come and have fun
becoming a puppet, or making a
puppet, or even being the voice
for a puppet. In this class you will Rising 4th-6th Graders • 1-4 p.m. Does summer boredom make you feel like a lifeless mannequin? We have your cure! Come beat the heat by exploring drama and puppetry! We'll explore the magic of theater through puppetry (as well as other areas) , and then end our week with our very own acting performance - starring you! Location: Augusta County Library Rising 7th-12th Graders • 6-9 p.m. Play games! Make new friends while writing your own scripts to be performed at the end of the week. Students will learn about different forms of puppetry, create their own puppets and learn theater basics. We'll explore this ancient form of drama as a way to allow our young actors expand their acting potential. Location: Augusta County Library Please download a registration form.Word / pdf . The class will meet once a week for six weeks. It touches on a bit of everything from acting to make-up to playwriting. The workshop strives to improve reading, speaking, and social interaction skills in a fun and exciting way. Whether your children have little or no theatrical experience or are experienced but haven't yet begun formal training, this is the program for them. Price- $50/person. |
