Rising 1st-3rd Graders - Theatre Basics

Rising 4th-6th Graders - We explored things like basic theatre history, projection, improv games, knowing your character... and much, much more!

Rising 7th-12th Graders- Worked with A Midsummer Night ’s Dream focusing on improv, games, script work, and auditioning skills.

July 21-25

For Students Aged 4-7
9-12 a.m.

Learn the basics of theatre. Write and perform your own play. Children will work with instructor Bonnie Morrison to write an original play, create their own characters and costumes, while incorporating dance and music. Friday night performance for families and friends.

For Students Aged 8-13
1- 4 p.m.

Write and perform your own play! Students will work local actor and theatre educator, Chris Markham, to create their own mystery. Along the way they will learn movement, makeup, and more! Friday night performance for families and friends.

For Students Aged 14 and up
6-9 p.m.

Learn Commedia Del Arte! Student will work with a local actress and director Claire Hensley, who has experience in all kinds of theatre. Together they will create their own commedia del arte performance – using masks, movement, and more.
